Carlos Garriga, current CIO at Instituto de Empresa, was working as Chief Information Officer at Sareb – Management Company for Assets arising from the Banking sector reorganization- until the middle of July 2016. Carlos has a degree in Industrial Engineering by the ICAI and is graduated in Physical Science. With an extensive international experience within the Information System Area, Carlos has developed his career in different sectors such as: Telecoms (ONO), Distribution (ADVEO) and Aerospace (European Aerospace Agency, Sener Ingeniera y Sistemas). Carlos has also a Master of Engineering by Cornell University as a Fullbrihght grant holder and Executive MBA by the Instituto de Empresa.
Mr. Santiago Uriel Arias holds since March 2015 the position of CIO (Chief Information Officer) at Haya Real Estate, where his main mission has been to create the new Information Systems Platform and process optimization, migrating from a legacy environment to a new process driven architecture. Since January 2016, he promoted to CIO and Transformation Director, assuming additionally the role of Organization, Process Transformation and Document Management.

After working for 11 years in Management Consulting companies, he joined in 2000 Chase Manhattan Bank in Spain as CTO, where he led the Bank Internet Services in the Private Banking and Corporate activities. I’ve developed the most of my professional career in consulting firms where I had the opportunity of working for top multinational companies across multiple sectors, such as Banco Santander and BBVA in financial services, or Telefónica and Vodafone in Telecom. During these years, I led projects in LATAM, Europe and North América, focusing on business strategy, operational efficiency, IT integrations and digital transformation.
After this enriching experience, I joined Gas Natural Fenosa, the third largest utility in Spain with a presence in more than 30 countries, being in charge of a new global platform for LATAM. In this time, we accomplish the integration in Colombia and Brasil.
Throughout my career, I have always loved participating in complex projects and embracing new challenges and my latest challenge has been to join Solvia a year ago with the goals of transforming the company through technology and innovation. I am very excited with this new project of leading the technology of Solvia and its integration with our biggest client, Sareb.

Ana, who holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, began her career at Accenture, a profesional services company. After 10 years there working in the financial services department leading international (Eurobank in Greece and Bawag Bank in Austria) and national projects (Infocaja, CAM,..), she jumped in the banking industry along with Barclays Bank where she started as Strategic Projects Manager and finished as CIO.
Before joining Sareb in August 2016, Ana was responsable for the Informational Systems in Bankia where had the opportunity to lead together with the CDO (Chief Data Officer) a Transformation Programme to implement a Data Governance Model in the Entity based on a new Informational System created from scratch and compliance with RDA&RRF specifications.
