Born in Fano in 1957, Ms Fasoli gained a degree in economics and business studies from the Milan Bocconi University.
She began her career at Andersen Consulting, and from 1990 she was a manager in charge of corporate consulting work groups at large multinational and Italian groups in various industrial sectors, such as chemical-pharmaceutical, mechanical, food and steel.
From 1997 she worked at Atos Origin S.p.A. (an international IT consultancy firm) where she took on roles of increasing responsibility, becoming Head of the Extended ERP Business Unit in 2002 (specialising in system integration projects with the main existing technologies). In this role she was in charge of a department of over 400 employees.
During her career she also took on strategic management consultancy jobs, as well as roles of responsibility for information systems in medium and large companies.
She joined Hera Group in March 2005 as General Manager of Famula On Line S.p.A., an information systems management company in the Central Department of Information Systems and Services. During this period she redefined the Group’s application and infrastructure map and managed numerous mergers and migration projects within the systems model, which was constantly evolving to keep pace with the growth of the business, in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the sector.
From January 2013, following the dismantling of the corporate structure of Famula On Line and the incorporation of activities into the holding company Hera S.p.A., the Information Systems Division was established and Ms Fasoli was appointed as Manager, in charge of defining the Group’s information system development strategies, guaranteeing operation, accessibility and maintenance and the achievement of the Annual and Multi-Year Plan targets.
In her current position she on the advisory boards of several major international vendors, CIO associations and the Management Academy for ICT Executives at the School of Management of the Polytechnic University of Milan.
