Frank Stockx began his career at BBL in 1994. As from 1997 until 2000 he worked on the euro introduction project. In 2001 he became Business Change Director of Service Center Securities & Financial Markets. Between 2004 and 2007 he held various positions at ING Bank in the Netherlands, including in the department Ops & IT Banking. In 2007 he became Head of Domestic Transformation Program at ING Belgium, where he was subsequently appointed Head of Transformation Office. On 1 January 2011 Frank Stockx was appointed Head of Information Technology Services within the Executive Committee of ING Belgium. On 1 July 2013, he succeeds Rik Vandenberghe at the head of the Products & Operations department of ING Belgium while remaining head of IT (until 31 January 2014).
Frank Stockx holds a master in Commercial Engineering, International Business from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (1992). He also obtained an additional degree in International Relations at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (1993). In 2006, he completed the General Management Program at Insead.
